Louise is a lyric, mezzo-soprano, who has experience in performing a wide range of repertoire from opera and oratorio to popular classics, musicals and light jazz. Performing in a variety of arenas from the opera stage to soirees and private functions.

She has performed with the London Sinfionetta in London’s Royal Festival Hall and in Bach’s St John Passion with the English National Opera at London’s Coliseum and also worked for Garsington Opera, BYO, Nationale Reisopera, Holland, WNO, Scottish Opera and Raymond Gubbay (Royal Albert Hall).

Opera roles include The Forester’s Wife (The Cunning Little Vixen), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Filipyevna (Eugene Onegin), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Carmen (Carmen), Meg Page (The Merry Wives of Windsor), Frau Kost (Cabaret), Mrs Honour (Tom Jones), Mrs Kneebone (The Dinner Engagement), Popova (The Bear), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), Bianca (The Rape of Lucretia) and Olga (Eugene Onegin) both received with critical acclaim and Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea) for which she was awarded the Paul Simm prize for opera.
Louise performs regularly as an alto soloist in Oratorio works throughout the country, recent works including Vaughan William’s Serenade to Music, Schubert’s Mass in B, Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Lutheran Mass in F, Mozart’s Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Rossini’s Stabat Mater.
